Slow drying, non-hardening brush-top sealant approved for use in critical aviation as well as marine and automotive applications.
If you need to seal threads for gasoline, there are very few thread sealants up to the task.
Fisheries recommends Aviation Form-A-Gasket No. 3 thread sealant when installing fuel fittings for gasoline powered engines. It specifically states solvent resistance to gasoline.
We do not recommend using teflon tape (even the gasoline-resistant yellow version) for fuel systems (gas or diesel) because it risks small bits of tape breaking free and clogging the small orifices in fuel pumps, injectors and carburetor galleries.
